Recap 8.3.09
First stop was to the Houses of Parliament. I actually enjoyed it a lot. It had all kinds of nifty little facts with the history of the place and how new laws are introduced. Our guide also mentione about Guy Fakes and how that whole thing was situated, and made me remember one of my favorite movies, V for Vendetta. The Houses had all kinds if backstory and stuff, and it was pretty cool. He next thing my grandma wanted to do was to go to tafalgar square. Neither mark or myself found that appealing, so we decided to checkout the photographers gallery. We finally got there, and it was closed on Mondays. Which sucked. And was weird. But on the way there we stumbled upon an apple store. Bmg. I want to live there. You know how if you go to just an apple store, there’s generally a computer left for you to ponder upon, but in the Apple Store i went to, every single comnputer was taken. That place is amazing. 2 stories of jolly goodness. First floor was composed of iPods and computers, second was software and customer support related stuff. Being that the photographer’s gallery was closed, we decided to go see the Tate Modern’s photo gallery. Thing is, when we got there, there was no photo gallery. Mark claims to have seen an ad in the tube stations, but whatever. It’s all gooood, cause I got to walk over the Millenium Bridge instead. It was in the Harry Potter movie ! :P But that was pretty cool. After that, we just head back to the hotel. So that was pretty much the trip in a nutshell. Of blogs.

The next day was the 4th of August, the day we leave. We got to the airport, which is significantly slower. We got our tickets, which was fine. We got upgraded to first class too ! Which was tiiiiiight. Then, we had to wait in a long, long, slow , line to just go through security. It took forever just to wait there. Once we got through, it was good from there. We boarded into our nifty first class seats. omg ! Those seats were freakin’ bomb. They were really cushiony. Haha. And comfortable. There was enough room to just lay down and actually be comfortable for the whole flight. It was tight. We then landed in Minnesota and waited there for like an hour. I picked up these bomb Mac magazines ! haha. Entertaining.. Then to our flight to Salt Lake. I just slept through that one. Then to the one to Vegas. I slept through that one, too. It was pretty short. Then eventually , we were home.
