This is a video I made exactly one year ago for a Modern Lit project we were assigned. Having been an entire year, I figured I’d share it.

Our assignment was to act as a “phony,” or someone we’re not. I portrayed myself as a normal teenager undergoing the typical dealings with high amounts of stress. I then turn to sleeping pills to relieve some tension, which eventually leads to my demise.

As the 14th night of drug abuse turns the corner, I enter into a catatonic state which leaves me vulnerable to a range of emotions and reliving past memories I’m quite fond of. As my final and most compassionate memory passes, my mind loses its will to live.
